Former CIA operations officer and current intelligence-based consulting professional Bob Dougherty took the Security University stage to talk national security. Specially, he addressed the threats the United States is facing from ISIS and how technology is pouring fuel on the fire. However, he said there are key lessons that solution providers can learn from the intelligence community, including to plan strategically, foster communication and teamwork, work with a quick speed of action, and foster mentorship and community relationships.
