Corporate Compliance Policies

In the survey, AppZero asked respondent’s if their company's corporate compliance policy requires them to run applications on a supported operating system. The early movers tended to be in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, banking/finance and insurance, as well as companies that process credit card transactions. The survey shows that 57 percent of respondents were required to upgrade to a supported operating system in order to remain compliant. Conversely 24 percent did not have such a policy in place while the remaining 19 percent were either not sure, or replied with "other/no response."
