Across Dell EMC's storage and server businesses, the program is offering an 8 percent rebate – again stackable with all the others – as an incentive for winning new business. According to Byrne, that comes in two forms: selling a new line of Dell EMC products to an existing customer or notching a deal with a customer the solution provider hasn't sold to before. Either way, it's likely that new business will be coming as a result of winning it away from another vendor, especially data center heavyweights like Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cisco Systems and Lenovo.
