Byrne and his team have structured the program to reward solution providers for selling large volumes of storage products. They started by boosting the base rebate for Category A products to 4 percent, almost double the rebate of the legacy EMC program. Those rebates are paid from the first dollar, and can be stacked with a 6 percent rebate when a solution provider hits 100 percent of its sales quota, and another 1 percent when it hits 120 percent.
