Q&A: Corus360's Steve Johnson On How His Company Has Handled Mammoth Growth

As the company has grown, how do you manage the internal change that can accompany that growth?

I'm up to about 275 people today. And the old mantra that I've interviewed every one of them is hard to say. We as a leadership team spend a lot of time understanding the challenges of a diverse workforce and how we engage and ingrain our culture across our geographies. We video every single meeting live, using our technology. We spend a lot of time on our core values and talk a lot about culture. … Every new employee comes into corporate headquarters and goes through a week-long onboarding. It's something you don't see a lot of in smaller organizations like ours; constantly trying to improve the communications and connections with remote regions … is the biggest challenge. Being connected in the headquarters office is simple; [we're] ensuring that folks in [other offices] are experiencing the same types of activities in office and out of office as we are here in Atlanta.
