How does your Talent Network (an online database of technical professionals) help? Does it give you an advantage in getting people who can help you?

It does. We use various different streams to connect with people. But [in] our online Talent Network, when we receive a resume or someone sends us a resume for a quiet search, we connect with that person and then we ask that person to connect with other people into our network. So we have built a really nice network, which allows us to have success. It's like an internal LinkedIn: Everyone's always asking for referrals from a referral.

The idea came from our head recruiter. She [said,] "Why don’t we have an internal place where people can post? Most of the best candidates have jobs. They always want to look and see what their worth is out in the marketplace." People have come to look for us when they're out there. [It's like] having a big headhunter firm represent them.
