Does trust in your own employees really help here when it comes to their judgment of talent?

I don’t think we're asking "Do we trust their judgment on great talent?" I think it's more [an issue of] can we trust them on their ability to showcase our organization and what it means to be a part of our team to those people. A lot of it is people understanding what they might be coming into or what they might be attracted to. So, we're trying to ask our employees to properly represent who we are and why they're here and what's in it for them so that they can paint that positive picture to create intrigue with other people.

My team still has the role of properly screening, determining fit and all that. Also, they could be attracted to us for one certain type of role and then after my team [has spent] time with them, determined, "Hey, we think you'd be better over here [in another role]. Great examples are sometimes [when] we get engineers who have a really strong propensity toward presales or solution architecting, and it’s a question of maybe they might fit better [in those roles than in others].
