Q&A: Groupware Technology CEO On Cloud Growth, What Makes A Strong Partnership

Groupware has many vendor partners. What do you see as the hallmarks of a strong vendor-partner relationship?

One, they've got to be innovative, and they need to continue to provide solutions to our mutual customer base, to provide value and help our customers achieve their business outcomes. So there's a component of innovation and the pure technology play, but there's also the other component of that, [which is] the partnership and being a strategic partner, and working together with [those] accounts to provide a solution to the customer. I think one key factor for manufacturers to move forward is to understand that there's going to be multiple products in the solution set that's going to be the best fit for the customer.

If you look at your traditional data center, [there are] multiple compute platforms, multiple storage platforms, multiple applications to support … and sometimes it's a combination of product sets that’s best for the customer.
