Growth Of Managed And Cloud Services Are Closely Related

Nearly three-quarters of survey respondents are looking to increase their managed services revenue goals, Autotask said, while just 17 percent are already meeting their revenue goals.

The expansion of cloud technology is driving managed services growth, according to Jake Carroll, Autotask's senior vice president of channel development, since the ensuing proliferation of devices and endpoints has made reliability and security more complex.

"Service providers should use this opportunity to create more demand for their managed services and to build out their portfolios with back up, security and other cloud-related services," Carroll said.
