Seven Things To Know About The Managed Services Market

Security And Reliability, Not Price, Predict MSP Success

Managed service providers (MSPs) have become increasingly focused on managing endpoints, growing their practices and getting into cloud backup and recovery.

That's according to a survey of more than 1,800 MSPs conducted by Decision Tree Labs on behalf of Autotask. Nearly three-quarters of the MSPs surveyed are based in the United States, while 40 percent have less than 20 employees.

The MSP market has thus far resisted commoditization - both for customers and MSPs themselves when selecting a remote management and monitoring (RMM) provider - with price typically coming as an afterthought in the decision-making process.
