IBM and AT&T Join IoT Forces

IBM and AT&T are coming together to help organizations accelerate their IoT initiatives by combining connectivity and cognitive computing to create open standards-based tools on the IBM cloud. The companies announced in July that they're expanding their commitments to open source-based tools and open standards around IoT.

Developers can now combine IBM’s Watson technology with AT&T’s various IoT platforms, such as Flow Designer, while also accessing its global network. The companies are also building a new IoT starter kit to help developers.

Partner Takeaway: Channel partners for both vendors should take advantage of this starter kit and start prepping customers for the new open tools being built on the IBM cloud.
