GE Partners With Huawei

Both General Electric and China-based networking behemoth Huawei are investing heavily around IoT solutions and strategic partnerships. The two companies recently unveiled a partnership focused on driving IoT adoption in China’s industrial market.

Huawei will also make GE’s Predix, the company’s industrial cloud-based IoT platform and its preferred platform for IoT projects. Last year, Predix generated $5 billion in sales for GE.
