Profiting From Cloud-Based Solutions: The Future Begins Now

Partners are moving away from the “traditional” model of providing customers with on-premise solutions to a more managed services type of model that revolves around cloud-based services, the survey found.

Nintex said its partners still rely on on-premise solutions for a significant portion of their business. Up to 90 percent of respondents said that selling cloud-based solutions represented less than half of their business in the last year.
However, about 37 percent of partners predicted that at least half their business will come from the cloud in the next two years, up from 25 percent in 2015.

Partner Takeaway: While many solution providers are still providing on-premise services, many are looking at cloud-based solutions and how they can change their operations and differentiate their businesses.
