As The SDDC Becomes More Popular, Here’s What Solution Providers Need To Do

Biggest Security Gap Holding Back SDDC

There's clearly a perception problem. More than half the respondents, 52 percent, identify the perception of inadequate security -- along with the fear of lower security levels what’s available in a physical data center -- as the biggest security gap holding back SDDC deployment.

Meanwhile, about 44 percent cite a lack of solutions from current vendors, the immaturity of new vendor offerings, and issues with cross-platform interoperability as security gaps.

Solution providers should be up front with potential customers when they make their sales pitches and try to shed the perception that security solutions are inadequate by citing specific types of use cases.
