As The SDDC Becomes More Popular, Here’s What Solution Providers Need To Do

Security Disconnect With C-Level And High-Ranking Executives

The survey reveals a disconnect between high-ranking executives and those tasked with managing or engineering the network.

Among C-level executives, 74 percent expect security to be less of an obstacle. But 54 percent foresee more breaches while 18 percent see fewer. Another 17 percent predict fewer breaches, but only after placing a strategic focus on security.

Meanwhile, among the expectations of manager-level executives:

  • Security as less of an obstacle: 62 percent
  • More breaches: 39 percent
  • Fewer breaches: 10 percent
  • Fewer breaches, but only after a strategic focus on security: 33 percent

Solution providers should take note of the differences between these two groups and tailor their sales pitches depending on who’s at the table.
