As The SDDC Becomes More Popular, Here’s What Solution Providers Need To Do

View From The C-Suite

About two-thirds – 66 percent – of C-level executives surveyed foresee increased SDDC adoption, while 62 percent predict faster deployments.

Other noteworthy conclusions:

  • Expectations of greater tangible benefits for SDDC: 49 percent;
  • Planned adoption for network virtualization: 48 percent; and
  • More use of public cloud: 45 percent.

Some aspects of virtualization and the cloud that have in the past received less attention now seem to moving their way to the front burner. While 50 percent anticipate greater use of the public cloud, a strong 38 percent predict adoption of SDDC for workloads that will traverse hybrid clouds, while 38 percent tout hyper-converged infrastructure. Approximately 41 percent now expect better alignment of security strategies specifically to address SDDC.

Any time solution providers see numbers like these from C-level officers, they can’t get any clearer a signal that it’s a top priority.
