Strategic Goals Focus On Sales, More Efficiency

Make money. Save money. Generate recurring revenue. That covers the top five immediate strategic priorities of MSPs, based on the survey results. At the top of the list? Bringing in net-new customers, cited as a major priority by 62 percent of MSPs, CompTIA found. Right behind, at between 54 and 58 percent – in order from highest to lowest – were expanding business among existing customers, expanding into new services such as the Internet of Things, improving service utilization rates, and specializing in a vertical industry.

For SNC Squared, serving the health-care industry, especially in its home area of Southwest Missouri, is its "saving grace," making up about 85 percent of its client base, CEO John Motazedi said.

SNC's goal is "to do everything about health care," focusing on superior service delivery to its clients, which range from solo practitioners to offices with up to 300 employees.
