MSPs Are More Efficient

Seventy-five percent of MSPs said they were optimally efficient across such functions as technical processes, sales effectiveness, pricing structures and customer retention, CompTIA found. While this is a subjective measure, it represents a vast improvement over 2012, when only 33 percent judged themselves as efficient.

CompTIA believes that jump in efficiency is due in part to the fact that MSPs have become more experienced at finding efficiencies as the industry has matured over the last few years.

Drilling down into separate functions, the survey reported that between 56 and 59 percent of MSPs said they were optimally efficient across such functions as technical processes, pricing structures, generating optimal profit margins, business process efficiency and the human resources functions of onboarding, recruitment and retention.
