The Biggest Skills Women In Business Need
According to Gault, women need three main skills to start a business. The first is learning two languages: English and programming.
"I was always better at math and marketing … but as you build a business you want to learn how to use English well and communicate well," Gault said. "I also learned how to program … programmers think in very simple, non-emotional ways."
Women also need to learn how to build the product utilized in their company through understanding how the architecture behind the product works. Finally, once women learn English and programming, and how to build the product, they can reach the third skill, said Gault — making smart decisions.
"These skills help you balance things out… you will be good at communication, while also breaking decisions down to the smallest components and taking all emotions out," said Gault.
