Are Businesses Responsible For Personal Data? Some Users Think So

According to Lookout's survey, 11 percent of smartphone users believe that the company they share data with on their mobile devices is responsible for securing their personal data.

Meanwhile, up to 75 percent of users think that they are responsible for their personal data, while 10 percent think their mobile phone network is responsible, and 5 percent believe the U.S. government is ultimately accountable for data on their devices.
