Employees Keep Taking These Five Mobile Security Risks

Users Who Say They Are Aware Of Mobile Security Still Partake In Risky Behavior
According to Lookout, there is a large discrepancy between how users think about mobile security, and their actual behavior.
Of the smartphone owners who claimed to be the most aware of risky mobile privacy behaviors in Lookout's survey, 34 percent stated that they do not set a pin or passcode on their phone. Meanwhile, 35 percent of respondents download mobile apps from unofficial marketplaces, 37 percent reveal personal information on social networks, and 52 percent don't read privacy policies before downloading a mobile app.
For enterprise leaders, this statistic means that businesses should be wary of employees handling their personal devices on enterprise networks.
