Millennials Have The Same Career Goals As Older Generations
Millennials want financial security, seniority and a diverse workplace just as much as their older colleagues do, according to the IBM study.
Like Baby Boomers, Millennials stress the importance of inspirational leadership, a clearly articulated business strategy and performance-based recognition and promotions.
They place less emphasis than Gen X employees on a collaborative work environment, the ability to innovate and flexibility to manage their work/life balance, but the differences are small.
The top career goal for Millennials is to make a positive impact on their organization, which also scores well with Gen X and Baby Boomers.
