Enterprise Mobile Security

One of the biggest concerns with the rise of BYOD is security, but a presentation at Black Hat by Vincent Tan showed how the very systems meant to implement additional security features could be adding to the problem. Using Good Technology EMS as an example, the presentation dug into how Enterprise Mobile Security solutions could be attacked through both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices, a problem that potentially puts protected applications at risk. The presentation also highlights the launch of Swizzler, a pen testing tool to automate attacks on EMS solutions and bypass EMS protections.
