Growing IT Complexity May Open Doors For Security Specialists

Technology environments are becoming more complex, which makes it increasingly difficult for one solution provider to have and deliver expertise in all areas, the CompTIA study said.

A channel firm with the right resources can serve as an information security team for businesses – especially small firms - that need help, the study concluded.

The solution providers stepping into the security space are typically either managed service providers that focus primarily on security, or companies that adopt security as their sole line of business, meaning that they’re managed security services providers, CompTIA said.
