How HIPAA Strengthened A Solution Provider-Client Relationship

Does health care reform impede their grasp of it or prevent them from getting their heads around HIPAA?

Having tools like Rapid Fire makes it a lot easier for them to be less afraid of it, because when they go to conferences, they usually get scared. They hear [about] all the audits, all the penalties, all the fines, and people going out of business. So when we came in there, we told them, "Look, let's start somewhere, let's start securing all the stuff you've got to do."

At that point, we start building a relationship [as a] trusted advisor … where we really help them through it every step of the way until they become something approaching compliant. There's no such thing as a compliant entity; I've never seen one; I don't think I ever will.
