DevOps Rises As An Enabler

Eighty-four percent of organizations represented in the Unisys survey will have some level of DevOps adoption in the next 12 to 24 months, with 38 percent having already adopted the methodology.

DevOps adoption will see a big year in 2017, according to Bob West, vice president of global applications for Unisys – No. 19 on CRN's Solution Provider 500 list - based in Blue Bell, Pa.

"Most of the new opportunities that we see all require it," West said in an interview with ITBestOfBreed. "It's become a requirement as we go through … expansion of contracts or renewal of contracts to ensure that there's an increased level of DevOps automation."
