Every year, New York-based solution provider BCM One throws a holiday party in the city. The company also flies in employees from around the U.S. to join in. Employees are also driven around New York City for an hour before the party to enjoy drinks and play trivia games.

Akuity, a managed services provider in Auburn, Mass., throws an annual holiday party for employers and their spouses or partners, and includes live performances by comedians. "This is a big hit," says Brian Hanify, the company's vice president of sales and marketing.
