Build A Career Around Good People

Extreme Networks' Powers said she would have advised her younger self to build a career around who she wants to work with, who she works for and who the customers are. She said loving what you do and who you work alongside -- and for -- are key.

"I think when you align with great people and choose with purpose who you work for and who you work with, the rest of it just happens," Powers said. "You become on purpose with what you want to do and you don't settle for anything less."
