CMOs Will Outsource A Piece Of Their Digital Marketing Biz
By 2020, 33 percent of CMOs will outsource some aspect of their digital marketing activities. That’s a huge opportunity for marketing-as-a-service players that look to capitalize on the outsourcing trend. IDC says opportunities range from IT and data management services and creative and execution services delivered via MaaS.
“MaaS enables CMOs to outsource much of the technological complexity and pay for it out of their advertising budgets and get better integrated marketing services on top of it. It also enables marketing service providers to run omni-channel campaigns with high levels of transparency,” IDC wrote.
