Short-Term Business Gain For MSSPs?

Managed security service providers could land more business over the next few years, as more than half of the Intel survey respondents said they will expand their outsourcing of cybersecurity – at least for the short term - if they can't hire enough talent. They also believe that, in five years, cybersecurity tools will be able to meet most of their organizations' needs.

What's most likely to be outsourced? Those solutions that lend themselves to automation and that include threat detection, such as network monitoring and access management, the Intel survey found.

Research and Markets predicts that the global managed security services market will grow at a combined annual growth rate of 11.9 percent from 2016 to 2020.
