Number of months in which the federal government investigated solution provider giant CDW's vendor program incentives before the company announced that no action would be taken against it. Staff from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission informed CDW this month that it had concluded its probe and didn't intend to recommend an enforcement action. CDW, based in Lincolnshire, Ill, said the probe didn't have any impact on its financial condition or operating results beyond costs related to cooperating with the investigation.
