The acquisition gives Rackspace a company with global reach that will help managed cloud provider Rackspace move its capabilities up the enterprise stack. The acquisition is the biggest in Rackspace's history, and marks the latest of several strategic shifts for the San Antonio, Texas-based company. The price of the acquisition for Boston-based TriCore was not disclosed.
