Hotter IT Job Market May Force SPs To Ante Up In ’16

What kind of work is driving demand for technical help?

Mobile technology, big data and security will continue to be major drivers for IT hiring in 2016, according to the results of the Robert Half study. In the telecommunications industry specifically, there will also be “relentless” demand for connectivity and speed in communications, along with “robust growth” in devices and services, plus network convergence, Robert Half said.

Other key verticals with long technology “to do” lists next year are financial services and health care, the study noted. In particular, the health care industry in the United States is investing in new technologies to meet regulatory compliance demands, boost innovation and improve the quality of patient care, according to Robert Half.
