Security Is The No. 1 Cloud Concern

Nearly two-thirds – 65 percent – of companies surveyed cited security as the leading concern associated with cloud technology. Meanwhile, 40 percent listed loss of physical control of data as a major concern.

Coincidentally, when the survey asked for the best practices organizations should consider before they adopt cloud technologies, the top answer – from 66 percent of respondents – was to have a well-defined security architecture: the only best practice cited by a majority of respondents.
