As more businesses discover the cloud – and channel partners rise to meet the foreseen rise in demand for cloud technology – security remains a chief concern in spite of the potential cost savings, operational improvements and broader availability of technology resources that come with it.

That’s the key message from a recent study conducted by Netwrix Corp., an IT auditing software provider based in Irvine, Calif. The results, released last month, were culled from responses of more than 600 IT professionals around the globe, from a variety of industries.
