Cloud Helps Recurring Revenue Too
More partners are realizing the connection between cloud and recurring revenue, and IDC found that those who do more than half of their work in the cloud have close to twice the amount of recurring revenue of other partners. Specifically, those who drive at least half their revenue from the cloud have, on average, about 52 percent recurring revenue. Meanwhile, those that do 20 to 50 percent of their business in the cloud have about 33 percent recurring revenue, on average. Those with less than 20 percent of cloud business average around 27 percent.
