Partners can simply resell Office 365 with the added layer of support wrapped around the offering. However, most clients will expand their use of Microsoft products after the initial deployment, adding more recurring revenue opportunities for partners down the road, SADA's Cutler said.

"When we look at how we can drive additional revenue out of clients, we know that just by acquiring the license we are going to see an additional six projects -- it could be SharePoint or CRM online. That brings you from selling a $20 license to a $60 license," Cutler said.  "Now we are talking real dollars, along with maintenance and support."
