Demand For IT Services Will Continue Upward Climb

Top Service: Computer Facilities Management

Three service areas – computer facilities management, software services, and computer systems design services – took up all but 11 percent of the IT services market in 2015, the TBRC research found.

The breakdown:

Computer facilities management, which includes outsourcing: $278 billion in market value; 30.52 percent market share;

Computer systems design services, which includes integration work: $265 billion; 29.1 percent;

Software services, such as testing, programming and support: $265 billion; 29 percent; and

Data processes and hosting: $102 billion; 11 percent.
