5 Ways Solution Providers Can Rake In Sales In Education

The education industry offers an array of high-level trends for resellers, according to NPD Group industry analyst Michael Diamond.
Diamond, who addressed a roomful of channel partners Monday at XChange 2016, discussed education technology trends at the event, hosted by CRN parent The Channel Company.
“Last year we saw a lot of school closures and school consolidation,” Diamond said. “As all this is happening, classrooms are getting bigger, and teachers have to do more with less. So a lot of schools are turning to technology to help them.”
Over the years, Chromebooks have played a significant factor for solution provider sales in education, Diamond said, but in 2016, NPD is seeing a lot of “pocket areas” of growth in new opportunities, he added.
