Four Spatial Streams

The Wi-Fi Alliance says device speeds are proportional to the number of spatial stream transmissions.

Networking devices that want to comply with the new standard will need to support four spatial streams, up from three spatial streams before. Adding a stream simply creates a more efficient product that solution providers can sell.
