How big of an impact do you see IoT making in 2015, by 2020?

Savi saw tremendous growth in the use of sensors to improve predictability and efficiency in the supply chain in 2014, and we are already seeing that trend expand in 2015 as more companies are realizing the value.
Savi’s experience is in leveraging sensors for both risk analytics (identifying potential challenges to shipping, based on external criteria such as weather patterns, economic conditions and crime rate) and performance analytics (ensuring operational performance is optimized). When combined, these analytics offer companies with large, international supply chains a dashboard view of their entire supply chain, along with recommendations that promote timeliness, efficiency and safety.
By 2020, the sensor-enabled supply chain will be commonplace because of continued advancements in the sensor technologies and the data analytics and machine learning that the tags will produce.
