As the channel evolves, its top tier solution providers are still looking to grow their businesses in new ways.

Nowhere is that more evident than at The Channel Company's Best of Breed Conference, held this week in Orlando, Fla.

When the conference was launched four years ago, it was designed as a place for thought leadership discussions among top channel leaders. That year, the conversations centered around the business model change in the channel, and what solution providers needed to do to begin to adapt.

While that was still a major part of the conversation this week, the industry's top solution providers have matured through the "aftershock" of transformation. That theme was echoed across breakout sessions and keynote addresses from Dell CEO Michael Dell and Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman.

"The Channel Company is thrilled to be able to provide a forum to help partners continually reshape and advance their business model for the benefit of the entire industry. The fact that HP’s Meg Whitman and Dell’s Michael Dell have participated two years running shows the commitment both companies have to solution provider partners and the value they see personally in addressing partners at the conference," The Channel Company CEO Robert Faletra said.
