It's critical for women to be "intentional" about managing both their careers and personal lives, and there are four steps women need to follow to do that.

That's according to Rosina Racioppi, president and CEO of WOMEN Unlimited Inc., an organization for mentoring, education and networking that helps women get ahead in the workplace.

Racioppi, speaking Thursday at the XChange Women Of The Channel event in New York, discussed the importance of looking forward at careers, dealing with authenticity, being vulnerable, forming relationships, and other workplace issues women must deal with.
