Q&A: How Red River Keeps Flowing While It’s Growing

Red River, a Claremont N.H.-based solution provider, made an impressive jump up the CRN Solution Provider 500 list this year, soaring from No. 178 in 2014 to No. 49, growing its annual revenue by more than $200 million.

The company, which focuses much of its business in the U.S. federal government space, owes that gain to its focus on its core business, according to Jeffrey Sessions (pictured), Red River’s vice president of corporate strategy,

In an interview with IT Best of Breed, Sessions said that Red River's focus on its “long game” has kept it in the green every year since it was founded 20 years ago, averaging 20 percent annual revenue growth.

"You have to think about the foundation you are building and you have to make sure - every step along the way - you are building it out," he said.

In this Q&A, Sessions talks about how Red River got to where it is today and how it’s planning for growth in the future.
