Talent Strategies Under Pressure

More and more, growth strategies across industries depend on finding, recruiting and retaining tech talent. The IT industry is no exception, and Steve Cadigan, former head of HR at LinkedIn, says many firms struggle to adapt to the fast paced, employee-oriented job market. On top of that, the IT industry is staring directly in the face of what Cadigan calls a "massive undersupply" of talent. Now head of Cadigan Talent Ventures, Cadigan does a lot of speaking and teaching. He expects to release a book later this year. He spoke with IT Best of Breed by phone recently and outlined several of the biggest talent challenges facing the IT industry. They won't be easy to overcome.
