How Solution Providers Can Help Solve Networking Needs

Organizations of all sizes are seeking greater networking capabilities due to the importance of business-critical applications and the rise of bring your own devices (BYOD), creating a space of prime real estate solution providers should cash in on, says Mohit Lad, CEO and co-founder of network management specialist ThousandEyes.

Lad says solution providers can play a larger role in helping businesses manage their network performance and giving companies greater visibility into their networks.

"Companies have always looked at channel partners as trusted advisors to help them get the best solution for their needs and operating environments," Lad said in an interview with IT Best of Breed. "This rapid shift to cloud and Internet-connected architectures is drastically changing their operating environment, creating sort of a blind spot in visibility that seriously impacts their ability to run IT efficiently. Companies are now looking for partners with experience across different companies to help them make this transition and manage it going forward."
