As their applications and technology infrastructures become more complex, most corporate IT teams believe that increasing complexity is making it harder to do their jobs, according to the results of a study by Ipswitch, a vendor of IT management software.

Those results, according to Lexington, Mass.-based Ipswitch, suggest that corporate IT departments feel they’re at risk of losing control of their technology environments while facing the introduction of new technologies, the imposition of stronger performance requirements, and the growth of mobile devices that usher in “bring your own device” policies.

And that’s where service providers can help them out.
