As innovation around IoT products begins to ramp up, Montvale, N.J.-based BullGuard has launched the BullGuard IoT Scanner, a free tool that reveals connected devices that could be vulnerable to hackers. The scanner allows customers to quickly scan their smart devices to see if they or their networks are accessible to hackers. If a device is flagged as being vulnerable, details about the specific security issues uncovered are provided.

The mobile security vendor was included in CRN's 2016 Top 25 Coolest Mobile Security And Data Protection Vendors.
