Dell Survey Sees Partner Opportunities In Unified Communications

A Chance To Strengthen Customer Relationships?

Dell’s partners could find opportunities to strengthen relationships with their customers by helping them enhance their unified communications strategies, according to the results of a new Dell survey.

Businesses continue to struggle to provide remote employees with a unified communications experience that matches that of in-office workers, according to the survey, which concludes that a lack of visibility into UC usage is costing businesses money, denting productivity and exposing businesses to unnecessary risk.

The results demonstrate several areas where Dell partners could find opportunities to drive a deeper, more valuable relationship with customers. And some of the survey's numbers indicate that those opportunities could be big.

For example, 83 percent of organizations surveyed expect the number of remote workers in their organizations to increase in the coming year, and 95 percent of respondents say they face challenges in delivering quality UC services to remote workers.
