From Cloud To Hackers, Eze Castle Integration's Predictions For 2015

Cloud Is Here To Stay

"We'll see more adoption. We've been conducting surveys, and we took a look at emerging funds vs. established funds," Guilbert said. "Emerging funds made significant adoption of cloud two, three years ago. They didn't want to spend money on equipment. OpEx is much more effective than spending capital. For established funds, the transition has been slower. Fifty percent of our clients are on their own infrastructure, and we think that will probably hit a plateau of about 85 percent. They'll wait to do a tech refresh, and move off on-prem. They'll also consider a hybrid model. It's really driven by established vs. emerging."
